BPsych (Hons), Masters of Professional Psychology
Elica is a Provisional Psychologist, working at our Sydney Office and holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Professional Psychology from Western Sydney University. Elica is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She also holds a Certificate IV in Mental Health from Western Sydney University and Wesley Mission, and a Certificate III in Community Services. Elica also speaks fluent Macedonian, and can communicate in Serbian and Croatian.
Elica has experience working with children, adolescents and adults within the NDIS scheme, and believes that early referral and intervention is critical in addressing psychological presentations and achieving best outcomes for her clients. She uses a person-centered approach to provide a tailored assessment and evidence-based treatment programs to suit each individual client, taking into account their psychological, socio-economic, educational, family and cultural backgrounds.
Her areas of interests are early childhood-onset disorder such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Developmental Delays, as well as Intellectual Disability, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorders, Trauma and Stress Related Disorders, Grief and Loss, and Pain Management. She uses multiple treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Family Therapy, Floortime Therapy, and Social-Emotional Skills teaching.
